The Irbis Media Group, a full-cycle agency with over 13 years of experience in Eastern Europe and Turkey, has opened a branch office in Dubai. Specializing in PR, marketing, and event organization, the company is led by Ivan Irbis, a renowned producer and owner of the international company IMG. In an interview, Ivan Irbis shared insights into their operations in the Middle East market.
Ivan, what are the specifics of your agency’s services and why do you think it has become successful?
This business is 13 years old and I have almost 20 years of experience in PR! Means our client can get absolutely everything from the development of the project idea to its implementation on the market. Our specialists analyze competitors, create a website, design and brand book. There is no bloated staff and we have established ourselves as an effective team.

Do you work only with big businesses? And what budget is required for cooperation with you?
We work with a variety of customers, from big companies to individuals. Working with personal brand and social media marketing is one of our strongest areas. Since 2011, we have worked with more than 3000 clients and any financial investment can be successfully.
Why did your agency decide to open a representative office in the UAE?
I have been working with the Arab market since 2018; we organize fashion events in Dubai. Many customers from Russia or Europe became more and more interested in Arab media and we as an agency expanded our offerings. We also have new clients from the UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Of course, another important reason was our new line of business PR support for hotels and restaurants.

What tasks do you set for your team for 2024?
If we talk about Dubai then to organize two fashion shows – “Miss Dubai” and “Fashion Battle” by the way our projects have become so popular that now there are clones on the market. We are also planning to seriously expand our media partner base and finalize our goals in contracts with existing Arab clients and take on new ones!
