As the vibrant and transformative Year of the Snake begins, BOSS has collaborated with the epic Chinese mythological film trilogy, “Creation of the Gods,” to launch a special capsule collection. The collection will be celebrated with a campaign featuring one of the leads of the film “Creation of the Gods I: Kingdom of Storms”, actor Li Yunrui.

Drawing inspiration from Eastern mythology and masterful craftsmanship, the new capsule blends timeless style with contemporary creativity to present an elegant 24/7 lifestyle wardrobe. Honoring cultural heritage, both the collection and campaign will showcase China’s rich traditional aesthetics legacy while opening a new chapter in the Year of the Snake with a modern spirit and fresh vision.

The BOSS x Creation of the Gods capsule collection features a classic red and black color scheme, accented by the iconic “Ji Jin” gold, a hallmark of the film’s aesthetic. Inspired by Shang and Zhou dynasty bronzeware, custom totem motifs are intricately woven into the BOSS logo and Double-B monogram. Following its tribute to traditional Chinese calligraphy and poetry last year, BOSS has once again collaborated with the Chinese cultural and creative communities to bring the aesthetics of Chinese bronzeware and legendary national myths to the global stage through fashion.

The collection encompasses a variety of men’s and women’s pieces, including leather varsity jackets in classic silhouettes, knit cardigans, casual hoodies, sweaters, T-shirts, and jeans. It also includes a range of children’s styles, catering to the entire family. Distinctive totem motifs are revitalized through embroidery and prints on the garments. The dark gold embroidery, reminiscent of bronzeware hues, is embellished upon carefully selected, comfortable fabrics. These distinctive pieces offer a unique blend of tradition and modernity in fashion, ushering in the freshness of the new year with a touch of fantasy.

Known for his role in “Creation of the Gods I: Kingdom of Storms” and numerous other acclaimed works, Li Yunrui will lead the campaign, which seamlessly integrates with the film’s theme. Shot at the Dolby Auditorium in the Shanghai Film Art Center, which hosted the film’s Shanghai premiere, the campaign captures moments of cinematic brilliance beyond the screen. Li Yunrui and model Li Linzi, dressed in the looks from the capsule collection, effortlessly step into a joyful family gathering scene. As the camera pans, it reflects on the past and looks to the future, ushering in a vibrant and hopeful new spring through a fusion of fashion and culture.

The men’s collection features a classic varsity jacket crafted from suede and leather, with intricate embroidery that captures the unique Chinese bronzeware motifs of this collaboration, seamlessly integrating totems like Panchi, phoenix, and tiger. Winter essentials include a quilted, hooded outwear jacket with a metallic logo. Casual highlights include a hoodie adorned with exquisite Taotie embroidery, a logo sweatshirt, and a pair of jeans.

The collection also presents a range of elegant womenswear pieces perfect for the festive season, including a warm merino wool cardigan and sweater, both adorned with distinctive bronze and black stripe trims, exuding classic charm. The collection also features versatile quilted vests and wide-leg jeans. A crew-neck sweatshirt with side slits, embellished with an embroidered BOSS Double-B monogram, adds a touch of Chinese flair to modern leisurewear.
