In an unprecedented meeting between the elegance of Christofle and the prestigious world of Roland-Garros, the Maison reinvents its iconic Mood. This reinterpretation celebrates the official partnership between Christofle, the expert in the French art of living, and Roland-Garros, the distinguished temple of French tennis.

Since 1830, the French silversmith has invited the world to the table of kings and queens. Today, with the new Mood Roland-Garros, it invites everyone to an amazing match, combining humor, art de la table and sport. This cheerful and stylish limited-edition unveils three new «Terracotta» color references − Mood by Christofle, as well as its Party and Coffee versions − evoking the clay of renowned tennis courts.

Lighter, freer, more distinguished than other tennis courts, the Mood Roland-Garros campaign features a Christofle-designed playground that is true to the silversmith’s mission: Capture life in silver. In the heart of Roland-Garros, the temple of French tennis, Maison Christofle sets up a lunch like no other. On a clay court, white tablecloths, silver-edged plates and the limited-edition versions of the Mood Collection, this ovoid-shaped setting accommodating forks, knives and spoons sets the tone. Laszlo Badet and Alice Moireau, figures of a new gastronomy that is both sophisticated and uninhibited, have more challenges than tennis to take on.

In pleated skirts and immaculate visors, the two young women compete in front of a Christofle audience. With that touch of playfulness that Christofle holds dear, they are faced with a series of challenges: How best to enjoy a soup? How to serve fruits? What is the most elegant way to nibble on a salad and the most beautiful way to sip your coffee? Last test, but not the least: Who will best arrange the cutlery in the iconic Mood by Christofle, presented in the clay color unique to Roland-Garros?

Christofle is a luxury Maison founded in Paris in 1830 by a visionary jeweler and entrepreneur, Charles Christofle. Since its inception, Christofle’s high-quality silverware pieces, as a royal and imperial supplier, have delighted the residences of illustrious clients, decorated the grandest tables, illuminated journeys aboard mythical vessels, and adorned the most famous monuments, such as the Paris Opera. For over two centuries, the Maison has been revolutionizing the world of tableware, jewelry, and decoration with its unparalleled expertise passed down through generations. Christofle collaborates with the best artists and internationally renowned designers, transcending mere function into its distinctive aesthetic, playful elegance, and assured style.
