Iris – the famed Dubai institution is now open at its new Meydan location. Since its Dubai debut six years ago, the venue has attracted a loyal following, with Dubai residents flocking to its former location in The Oberoi, Business Bay for the ultimate lounge experience. The newly located Iris is the epitome of a modern lounge bar; bringing an elegant, natural and free-spirited energy to the city, much like its founding outpost in Beirut, Lebanon.

Boasting phenomenal city views, infectious vibes and music that exhilarates the senses, the venue is impressive in its size and demeanor, offering a capacity of up to 1,500 guests, whilst still maintaining its distinct lounge feel. Iris’ open-air ambience along with skyline views provides an ideal vantage point for watching sunsets or dancing the night away against the enigmatic Dubai backdrop.
Cuisine
Guests can expect an innovative menu concept that offers international cuisine that is inspired by Mediterranean, Japanese and South American gastronomy. Iris’ food philosophy celebrates the use of wholesome and fresh ingredients, featuring a menu that celebrates flavour at every opportunity.
Every taste and palate are catered for at Iris with crowd favorites including truffle fries and a delicious selection of flatbreads to start, followed by flavorsome tacos, light and refreshing salads, succulent burgers and a sushi offering that will delight all who dine. Cocktail Culture
Since opening its doors in 2011, the Iris bar team have elevated themselves well above the average bartender, creating a dynamic cocktail offering, that raised the bar in the city. Iris created a league of cocktail maestros who understood the theory and science behind mixing ingredients in order to achieve balance and consistency, thus creating an array of delicious concoctions that have garnered a loyal legion of fans.
Design
Iris is designed to offer a haven of escapism for all who enter, using both luxurious and raw textures, giving the space character and depth. Neo-natural interiors blur the boundaries between interior and exterior, creating natural spaces with trees and plants flowing seamlessly into beautiful concrete cast structures and wood, punctuated by industrial lighting.
Iris Sunsets
Daily 5pm – 8pm. The perfect way to unwind from the workday, head to Iris Sunsets for happy hour from 5pm – 8pm and enjoy a scenic after-work drink with tunes by DJ Nua Akuna or settle in amid skyline views for dinner and the evening ahead – we’re open until 2am weekdays and until 3am on weekends.
Live Bands
Mondays & Saturdays. Iris has your live music sessions sorted with talented local bands live on stage every Monday and Saturday at Iris, kicking off from 9pm. MLK takes the stage every Monday at Iris playing across a mix of genres including pop, indie rock and the classics. Saturday nights are all about the feel good gives with a funky brass band playing popular dance and pop songs, led by female vocalist, MLK.
Iris Tuesdays
A journey through sound and time. From the birthplace of mankind and music comes a unique sound – a fusion of Tribal and Deep House. Iris Tuesdays is an uprising of musical expression. We’re looking through new eyes while diving deep into our origins, weaving together original African percussion sounds and rhythms with modern beats.
Music takes centre stage on Tuesdays at Iris Dubai with guest DJs spinning a curated mix of Tribal and Afro-House tunes from 8pm. Start the evening over dinner and get into the vibe before switching gears into party mode as Paul Svenson keeps the atmosphere buzzing late into the night.
Wednesdays at Iris
Live percussion, instrumentals and vocals play alongside DJ Bob Howard at Iris Dubai every Wednesday night.
Brunch
Fridays 1pm – 5pm. Welcome to the world of live cooking stations, creative cocktails, sunshine and city skyline views courtesy of Dubai’s trendiest open-air lounge. With music by Paul Svenson & Memfisa, Brunch at Iris is an institution in its own right.
