Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is in full swing, and the city is ablaze with a breathtaking display of lights, creativity, and technological marvels. If you don’t know about The Anooki characters then you will now. The world-renowned inflatable duo are currently enchanting audiences across Dubai in their debut appearance in the city. Running until 14 January, these larger-than-life characters, created by French designers Moetu Batlle and David Passegand, are illuminating Al Seef, Hatta, Etisalat MOTB, and d3, spreading joy and wonder wherever they go, symbolising the fragility of the planet and the importance of addressing climate change.
Head over to Dubai’s historic Al Seef neighborhood, where you’ll be dazzled by the Dubai Neon decorations. The marketplace and Gold Souk have been transformed into a vibrant wonderland of positivity and inspiration. Explore the charming cobblestone streets adorned with mesmerizing neon signs radiating uplifting messages and enlightening quotes. Don’t forget to capture those Instagram-worthy moments!
For a journey through the enchanting Amazon rainforest, visit West Beach in Palm Jumeirah from now until 30 January 2024. The Amazon Wonder installation showcases life-size installations of Amazonian parrots and stunning artworks of flowers and leaves, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty of this magnificent ecosystem.
City Centre Mirdif presents the star attraction, Modesh Inflatable, standing over 10 metres tall. This larger-than-life inflatable display, featuring Modesh and his friend Dana, adds a touch of magic to the DSF experience and is sure to leave viewers amazed.
One of the main attractions is the extraordinary Dubai Lights DSF Drone show. Be spellbound by the synchronised dance of 800 drones, transforming the night skies into a breathtaking symphony of colour and shapes that will take you on a magical journey through Dubai’s story of transformation. Presented by Emarat Petroleum in collaboration with The Beach, JBR, and Bluewaters, this is DSF’s most sensational drone show to date, with two shows per night.
