The Arts Club is opening its first international outpost in Dubai’s DIFC. The Arts Club Dubai is the first international outpost of the historical private members’ club in Mayfair, London. The club spans an impressive 65,000 square feet, set over four floors of a Foster & Partners designed building. It has been designed to provide members with an extension of their own homes: elegant, comfortable, versatile, and surrounded by like-minded individuals therein. On hand there is a team of staff with an excellent pedigree and broad experience in members’ clubs, who will welcome members and their guests to the new club.

The arts club was founded in london in 1863 by men of vision to be a haven for a community of people all connected by their love for the Arts. In 2011, the club was relaunched and today it is a vibrant hub for creative and entrepreneurial members, providing an environment where they can come together to entertain, exchange ideas, dine and participate in a rich cultural programme of events. The Arts Club Dubai will open with this same vision, giving Dubai a unique concept with an extraordinary new membership.

The club is the first of its kind in the middle east and it takes part of the rich artistic landscape of the region. Featuring the renowned London brasserie, as well as three brand new restaurants, including a late night members’ lounge, the club’s members will also find a cigar bar with a walk-in humidor and personalised storage, beautiful private dining rooms, extensive outdoor terraces on all floors and a spectacular rooftop events space. The interior has been designed by a Milan based studio, and will house a stunning permanent contemporary art collection, alongside changing exhibitions.

  • Three restaurants, the Brasserie and two new home-grown concepts
  • Seven craft cocktail bars: each to be manned by a specialist team of waiters, bartenders and sommeliers all on hand to guide members through the meticulously sourced wine list, as well as a vast selection of spirits, both contemporary and vintage
  • A 23,000 sq ft rooftop with uninterrupted views of the iconic Burj Khalifa, will house the Club’s late night lounge that will offer progressive music, with international DJs headlining intimate sets
  • The rooftop will also be home to the famed cigar lounge from London: Oscuro
  • Oscuro will be well-stocked with an excellent selection of smokes by a master of habanos, which will extend onto the terrace with adjoining private cabanas
  • There will also be an outdoor terrace lounge, running the length of the building, with fantastic views of Downtown, perfect for sundowners, set to an eclectic and international soundtrack

The cultural programme will pulse life into each member’s experience of the Club, as much or as little as they desire, as and when they wish. The programme will permeate through the Club, adapting and reflecting the seasons, social calendar and changing times. Led by Head of Cultural Programming, Sybel Vazquez, The Arts Club Dubai aims to cultivate regional and international creative discourse in the visual arts, the literary arts, the culinary arts, the performances arts, and sciences. With an annual agenda of events, the cultural programme’s mandate strives to collaborate and engage with institutions and cultural practitioners to further support innovation and creative thinking in the arts. From hosting talks, debates, exhibitions, workshops, live performances and original content all around, the cultural programme will embody the spirit of The Arts Club Dubai, one that is rooted in the local cultural landscape and its world-wide network.
