This season, Dior has presented a new existence of fresh and progressive ski apparel, a sector long desired by the luxury fashion houses devotees. The House of Dior is taking to the slopes with its orange Ski Capsule, a fusion of cutting-edge minimalist style and high-performance function comprising ready-to-wear, skis, snowboards and accessories designed by Kim Jones, Artistic Director of men’s collections, in close collaboration with Peter Doig Prolong.

Since taking the helm as Artistic Director of Dior Men in 2018, Kim Jones has invigorated and injected his kinesthetic urban flair into the historic luxury fashion house that was founded in 1946. All eyes were on Jones with brewing excitement as his debut collection took the fashion world by storm, and it sure lived up to ignite the flames in its full expectation. Two years on, he has not dropped the ball, but rather swung it around into a new frontier by leading the men’s division with none other than modified-forward creations keeping Dior Men on the track – at full speed ahead.

Kim Jones from Dior has extended his collaboration with Peter Doig at Ski Capsule Line, embracing the artist’s passion for skiing to create a capsule collection of men’s skiwear featuring jacquards and fleeces with decorative patterns inspired by his paintings.
