Directed by Ezra Petronio, the new Chloé eyewear campaign for spring summer 2021 is a pure expression of optimism and togetherness, attitude and freedom – a view from the eyes of contemporary women. These are women who embrace their possibilities while finding strength in communion, through shared hopes and inspirations, with a joyful feel for the present and a bright vision of the future.
Intimate portraits of modern femininity become a statement of elevated grace and natural elegance as the season’s contemplative gaze reflects on the beauty of self and of the world at large. A series of portraits and a short film introduce two new additions to the eyewear collection: demi sunglasses defined by clip-on elements featuring a unique game of changing geometries and colours; and irene optical frames that stand out for their tailored silhouette with metal retro volumes.

Comprising a range of shapes that are fluid and lighweight, luminous and graceful, each style exudes grace and attitude while elevating the Maison’s vision of modern femininity. The season’s palette of warm nuances and vivid accents is complemented by signature gradient lenses, with crafted embellishments enhancing the couture aesthetic. In the spirit of the Chloé Alphabet, styles are given a distinctive name that adds to their character.
The story of Chloé is the story of incredible women dressing incredible women. In 1952, Egyptian-born Gaby Aghion designed the inaugural collection for Chloé, making it one of the first prêt-à-porter design houses in an industry full of haute couture. Since then, the maison has cultivated the identity of the Chloé woman: elegant, bohemian, discerning and stylish – indeed, the quintessentially Parisian.
Since 2017, Natacha Ramsay-Levi has shaped Chloé’s cult of personality as its creative director. In addition to bringing her own flair, she’s reinterpreted fashion’s favorite bags: the Faye, Drew and Marcie.
