For Fall Winter 2023/24, Loro Piana presents the Extra Bag, a sophisticated evolution of the Extra Pocket launched with the Fall Winter 2019-2020 Collection, which became the maison’s iconic leather pouch bag, a little gem for carrying just the essential. Designed to go from day to evening, in town or traveling, the Extra Bag combines exclusive materials, a graceful shape, craftsmanship and functionality.
A versatile bag with clean, modern lines and a soft yet compact, almost rectangular shape, the Extra Bag is made of the finest quality calfskin in a masterfully handcrafted texture that is both sumptuous and seductive to the touch. It stands out in terms of roominess as well as beautiful and practical details: contrasting stitching in ecru, evoking traditional leather-working, and a two-way shoulder strap so it can be worn on one shoulder or across the body.
The Extra Bag is adorned with two new charms, three-dimensional polished golden lockets with refined rounded edges engraved with the initials LP: one for the ample zipper opening, and the other inside the vintage-style leather key fob. The colour palette ranges from bright white (Sunday Morning) to deeper tones of Black, Dark Chocolate Licorice and New Petrolio, to the delicate, distinctive, feminine Deep Kummel, the maison’s iconic nuance.
