The one-of-a-kind luxe venue, La Voile Rouge, has just launched a curated business lunch. The DIFC restaurant recently opened its doors to the public this February and has quickly won the hearts of many in the city. Diners can expect a three-course meal for AED 130 or a two-course affair for AED 100 per person. The delicious dishes are served up in an intriguing and luxurious setting.

Launched in February 2022 with an 18-year signed lease, the luxe and one-of-a-kind venue, La Voile Rouge aims to bring an authentic French Mediterranean experience to the UAE. Located in the heart of DIFC, the fine dining restaurant presents a chic blend of modern and classic designs, creating an intriguing yet intimate atmosphere. The Mediterranean ocean blue coats around the room exhibit a sense of tranquillity to the space and instil life into the area amongst the velvet booths, and white table cloths. La Voile Rouge presents a lush indoor seating designed to accommodate intimate date nights alongside a large burgundy table encircled by velvet chairs, perfect for larger parties and families.

From 12pm to 2:30pm, guests can choose between a three-course or two-course menu. The three choices included either one starter, one main course and a dessert; a starter and a main course; or a main course and a dessert. The dining experience starts with the Amuse Bouche of the Day, which is a bite-sized appetizer with bold flavours.

Running the kitchen at La Voile Rouge is Chef Junior, with over 15 years of experience in the F&B industry. After 10 months of the team carefully sourcing the best ingredients across 20 global suppliers, La Voile Rouge’s seasonal dishes are a testament to sustainable and high-quality produce.  The delicate fresh flavours of St Tropez are represented in the menu and offer something for everyone. Highlights from the menu include Sea Bass Carpaccio, Escargot, Lobster Risotto and the star of the show, the delightful Truffle-chino; a masterpiece of truffle and mash potato encased in an espresso cup.

Next are the starters, which feature a tempting variety, including a refreshing Lentil Salad, Salmon Tartare, which is cured with lemon cream and pommes Darphin (French potato pancakes) or La Voile Rouge’s Soup of the Day. The main course incorporates a selection of the French venue’s most beloved and delectable dishes, such as Mushroom Ravioli, Cod with seasonal vegetables, and Beef Tenderloin. End on a sweet note with the Dessert of the Day.

Inspired by the owner’s memories of friends and families enjoying the bright summers at elegant beach clubs in St Tropez, La Voile Rouge has grown to become a very personal journey for the team with over 10 months dedicated to detailing, planning and execution. Richard’s entertainment director’s recollection of his  30 summers in  St Tropez is depicted across the photo frames adorning the walls with memories of old friends and the créme de la créme of celebrities, supermodels, politicians and everything in between. Rouge also hosts an extensive cocktail and wine list managed by their master sommelier. The restaurant aims to serve guests the very best in true French cuisine.
