The Munich born brand with a bold German heritage MCM is proud to play a part as its homeland welcomes the biggest tournament in football. With its longstanding history in supporting top international football legends, MCM is poised for a big fashion win in the football world this summer. After more than30 years, Germany will host once more the 2024 European Football Championship.

German national player Jonathan Tah to be the face of MCMs football campaign: to kick off the brand’s Maverick message, MCM has partnered with Jonathan Tah, defender for currently undefeated Bundesliga winner Bayer Leverkusen. Tah has been the driving force behind his teams historical season–undefeated for48games in a row, set to be a key player on the German national team.

His emotional ties to the brand extend back to the start of his career when he purchased the MCM Stark Backpack as his first indulgence as a salaried player. The campaign was shot in Düsseldorf by Davit Giorgadze and styled by Christian Stemmler and captures the spirit of the inspiring Tah. MCM’s drive to shape the future and maverick personality matches Tah’s ethos: “I create my own reality” says the fearless star center back. “I know exactly what I am capable of. ”It’s this confidence and determination that inspires fans as well as MCM.

MCM will also release an exclusive product range specially designed for this celebration of football in the early summer. The MCM Euros 2024 Capsule Collection is a tribute to Munich’s energy and MCM’s heritage, featuring six meticulously crafted pieces blending luxury and sporting fervor. The six unique pieces, include a Lauretos-mixed, fun football-uniform-inspired look, and a football inspired backpack and weekender, seamlessly blending MCM’s German spirited luxury fashion heritage with sporting legacy.

To round off the capsule, the brand will launch a limited edition of six backpacks, evoking some of the bespoke backpacks MCM has created in the past. Fans can choose between designs for Germany, France, Switzerland, Portugal, Korea, and Brazil-the home nations of some of the most important players in the world.
