Infiniti Motor Company had the best November sales in the brand’s 29-year history, thanks to growing customer demand for its all-new QX50 midsize SUV. The company sold a record 22,126 vehicles globally in November, an increase of 6% from a year earlier. Infiniti also posted record sales in its two biggest markets, the U.S. and China. Sales rose 8% in the U.S. to 14,086 vehicles and increased 9% in China to 5,009.

“Strong global demand for our all-new QX50 reinforces its compelling value proposition – stunning design inside and out, equipped with a host of driver assistance technologies and the world’s first variable compression ratio engine,” said Roland Krueger, chairman and global president of Infiniti. “It’s the right vehicle, with the right technology at the right time, in the heart of the fast-growing midsize premium SUV segment. It’s rewarding to have a vehicle that’s such a winner – especially in the U.S., our biggest market, and in China, our biggest growth market. Our retailers continue to do a phenomenal job taking care of our customers.”

The QX50 features the combination of beautiful, expressive design, outstanding performance and state-of-the-art technology. It’s powered by a VC-Turbo engine, the world’s first variable compression ratio engine, which provides the power of a V6 and the efficiency of a four-cylinder.
