New York’s legendary hotspot, Indochine is now open in Dubai’s DIFC. Indochine, the French-Vietnamese New York haunt has sat proudly at the centre of the city’s social scene for more than three decades since opening its doors in 1984; and now VKD Hospitality has brought the world-famous eatery to Dubai’s DIFC, its first location outside of New York.

The appeal of Indochine is timeless, attracting the crème de la crème of the New York creative scene including Valentino, Cindy Crawford and Andy Warhol who have all frequented the venue over the years. Indochine continues to evolve, whilst staying true to its roots, as it attracts a new generation of A-listers. Kaia Gerber and Kendall Jenner regularly flock to immerse themselves in the eternally chic ambience and seductive interiors.

A favorite with New Yorkers and world travelers alike, Indochine presents a highly sophisticated fun dining experience, that will translate perfectly to the Dubai social scene. Offering up a delectable French-Vietnamese menu in an eternally stylish setting that includes Indochine’s signature tropical décor, and the iconic ‘Martinique’ wallpaper.

The entrance to Indochine Dubai will be adorned with its trademark red neon Indochine sign, and the venue will build upon the New York experience by taking the very best of what the flagship restaurant has to offer, whilst further evolving to usher in the next generation of Indochine – new and exciting things are to be expected from this launch!

The menu is unpretentious, approachable, and mouthwatering with the perfect marriage of French and Vietnamese cuisine. One can find time-honored Indochine dishes, like the Vietnamese ravioli, made with rice noodles, chicken, shrimp and Shiitake mushrooms, alongside new additions Lamb Char Siu, slow cooked lamb neck in a honey glaze, and Amok Cambodgien, steamed sea bream in banana leaf, coconut lemongrass custard, chili sauce, scallions and ginger. Chef Steven Nguyen has taken great care to pay tribute to tradition, at the same time pushing boundaries by incorporating unique flavors and unconventional techniques.

Much like the culinary offering, the beverage selection is a celebration of legacy and innovation that will ignite the tastebuds! The cocktail maestros will create an array of original concoctions, as well as offering the much-loved New York classics, such as the ‘Indochine Martini’ and the ‘Lychee Saketini’.

“We are beyond excited to introduce Indochine to the region. We strongly believe that we will not just replicate the energy that Indochine brings with its brand and style but will also become a treasured hotspot with the ever-evolving fashionable crowd of DIFC” said by VKD Hospitality Founders; Khalil Dahmash and Varun Khemaney.
