The two Italian labels teamed for a one-off footwear capsule collection, giving a preview of the joint effort at the premiere of Nicole Garcia’s “Amants” movie, where American model Taylor Hill appeared sporting a pair of blue paisley-printed pumps to match an Etro custom-made dressing gown in midnight blue velvet and silk satin.

Etro is opening exclusive pop-up stores dedicated to the collaboration with Gianvito Rossi within a selection of prestigious department stores along the international shopping map. The new Gianvito Rossi for Etro capsule, unveiled on the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival by Taylor Hill, will be displayed at Etro Boutiques in Rinascente Milano, Dubai Mall, GUM and Petrovsky Passage Moscow, Istinye Park Istanbul, Vitkac Warsaw, Salam Department Store Doha and in BR4, Bellavita and Regent in Taipei.

The exclusive collection, created in partnership with Gianvito Rossi includes four iconic Gianvito Rossi styles reinterpreted by Etro and personalized by the distinctive haute-hippy touch of the house. The selection includes pumps, ballet flats and boots characterized by signature Paisley prints in red and blue. The Gianvito Rossi for Etro collection is now available for purchase at Etro and Gianvito Rossi boutiques, on their respective e-stores and in selected international retailers.

To further mark the launch, the pump style will be featured in Etro’s latest digital campaign “Pegasus Club”. Intended to mainly promote the brand’s Pegaso Bag, the images photographed by Matthias Vriens showcase eight international talents posing with the label’s newest accessories while wearing pieces of the Etro fall 2020 collection. Personalities fronting the campaign include models Elsa Hosk, Halima Aden, Hikari Mori and Alton Mason; Vogue Japan’s creative director at large Anna Dello Russo; socialite Nati Abascal; Tunisian actress Hend Sabry, and Italian singer Myss Keta.
