Two of the world’s best-loved legendary operas Carmen and The Magic Flute coming to Dubai performed by The Armenian National Academic Theatre Opera and Orchestra. The iconic performing arts destination Dubai Opera also has the ability to transform from a traditional theatre into a concert hall, and even to a flat floor. The space caters to a wide variety of performances and entertainment styles.

For three nights in September – running from Thursday 6 to Saturday 8 Orchestra will bring to life the dramatic tale of the doomed love affair of a soldier, Don Jose, who falls for Carmen, a fiery gypsy.

From 13-15 September, the Armenian National Academic Theatre Opera and Orchestra will take to the stage at Dubai Opera to perform The Magic Flute, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s final operatic work. First performed in 1791, two months before Mozart’s death, he famously conducted the orchestra at the first performance. A comical fairy tale that takes place in a fantasy world, set to Mozart’s enchanting score, The Magic Flute tells the story of Prince Tamino and his companion Papageno as they help out the Queen of the Night, and set out to rescue her daughter Pamina. 13-14 Sep: 8pm and 15 Sep: 4pm. 04 4408888
