Besh, the authentic Turkish kitchen located at the Sheraton Mall of the Emirates invites guests to indulge in traditional Turkish cuisine with the Taste of Besh Set Menu. Using vintage recipes from 150-year-old cookbooks as inspiration, the talented chefs at Besh have curated a special menu offering that’s bound to ignite the senses.

In collaboration with renowned chef, Vedat Basaran, Besh Turkish Kitchen takes Turkish traditions and give them a modern touch for the best Turkish in town. The restaurant has five foundations to it’s menu that make our food more authentic, more Turkish. Throughout all the dishes chef uses olive oil sourced from Turkish brand Nar Gourmet and spices which are brought directly from the countries spice bazaars. Flour from Anatolia is used in the pides and lahmacuns while the cheese seen in many of the dishes has been hand-picked.

The heart and soul of the restaurant is the traditional domed oven, used to bake signature pides and lahmacuns, along with Guveç, cooked in clay pots, which allows the slow release of flavours brought to the dish by the spices and meats. The menu also offers a variety of premium cuts, taken directly from the mangal, whilst Besh’s ‘Karisik Izgara’ (mixed grill) is set to become a signature sharing plate. The team of Turkish chefs will bring a wealth of cooking traditions and knowledge to complement Besh’s unique offering.

The interiors captivate the heritage of Istanbul through tiles and ceramics which take inspiration from the city’s historic roots, giving a rustic and casual vibe. The artisan displays allow interaction with guests and the open kitchen elevates the overall dining experience. Shisha will also be available on the outdoor terrace throughout the day.

Standouts include a variety of bestsellers such as a mix of cold starters, hot mezze straight from the oven, traditional Turkish charcoal grill platters and sweet delights, all conveniently served to the table as you catchup and unwind together with family and friends.
